Truss Designer in Columbiana, AL – Salary – $130k per annum

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Truss Designer position located in Columbiana, AL. The Truss Designer will be responsible for designing and detailing custom trusses using provided specifications and architectural drawings. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with customers, interpreting structural engineering requirements, and ensuring adherence to industry guidelines. The role will involve direct communication with clients and team members to ensure project success.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Truss design and Timber construction principles

Ability to read and interpret Architectural Drawings accurately

Knowledge of Structural Engineering concepts and their application to truss systems

Strong Customer Service skills for effective communication and client interactions

Detail-oriented with problem-solving capabilities

Proficiency in truss design software is a plus

Experience in the construction or lumber industry is an advantage

Associate's degree in construction technology, engineering, or related field preferred
