    SUMMARY:

    The Business Development Manager is ambitious and energetic and will help us expand our product offerings, physical footprint, and customer base. You will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective strategy to increase our business. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through acquisitions, new product launches, partnerships and, together with the VP of Sales and Marketing, forge strong relationships with customers and solution providers.

    POSITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Defines and develops marketing strategy for target accounts.
    • Defines current and future target markets and accounts and strategic positioning within those and evaluates strategic business opportunities through partnerships, alliances, and acquisitions.
    • Listens to and communicates with customer base to identity needs in the market, potential new product offerings and any viable avenues for growth.
    • Collaborate with architects and engineers regarding current products and potential new products.
    • Develops and maintains relationships with key senior leadership and executive management contacts within accounts and industry.
    • Works in close partnership with the VP of Sales and Marketing
    • Expected to be able to influence others within and outside of the business development team
      • Expected to work independently within broadly defined policies and practices, selects, modifies and/ or develops methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
    • Works on significant and unique complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles and provides solutions that are highly creative
    • Actions and decisions have a material impact on financial results in assigned area
      Performance will affect attainment of business objectives and may have a prolonged effect
    • Spends approximately 5 to 10 hours per week calling on current and prospective customers, including visiting job sites when necessary.
