What We Are Looking For • 3 or more years of experience in California estate planning, probate, and trust administration • Warm, professional communicator, both written and verbal • Experience with LLCs and corporate matters is a plus Responsibilities: • Managing probate and trust administration files with confidence and minimal supervision • Drafting petitions, pleadings, accountings, correspondence, and supporting documents • Reviewing probate notes and ensuring timely, accurate court filings • Recording legal documents with the County Recorder • Preparing estate planning document sets for attorney and client review • Serving as a primary client contact and offering clarity, compassion, and professionalism • Processing and scanning incoming mail into our case management system • Maintaining well-organized, compliant digital and physical files • Coordinating attorney calendars, appointments, and deadlines • Preparing concise case summaries and synopses • Providing front-desk coverage at our Laguna Hills office as needed • Performing needed notary services for either the Laguna Hills or San Clemente offices • General office duties for the Laguna Hills office • Working primarily from Laguna Hills with occasional San Clemente coverage Qualifications: • Minimum of 3 years of paralegal experience in estate planning, probate, and trust administration; experience with LLCs and corporations is a plus • Strong knowledge of California Probate Law is essential • Thrives in a dynamic, client-focused environment while maintaining professionalism and composure • Highly detail-oriented and organized , with excellent time-management and prioritization skills • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a close-knit team • Excellent written and verbal communication skills , with strong computer proficiency • Bachelor’s degree required ; paralegal certificate preferred • An active Notary Public commission is required • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation What We Offer We support our team so they can excel professionally and personally: • Competitive pay: $70,000-$85,000 DOE • Full-time, in-office schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5 PM • Paid vacation & holidays401(k) with 3% employer match (after 1 year) • Profit-sharing opportunities (after 1 year) • Free parking • Opportunities for growth in a respected, fast-growing firm If you’re ready to join a team where your expertise is valued, your work matters, and your career can grow, we’d love to meet you.
