We are searching for a highly analytical applicant who is capable of working part-time and possesses strong negotiation and organizational abilities to join our growing firm as an estate planning attorney. You will create wills, trusts, and powers of attorney for clients and their families and educate them on matters of insurance and powers of attorney. To guarantee that an estate is managed in accordance with the estate owner's intentions, this role demands a high degree of responsibility. We are searching for an applicant with substantial experience in estate planning. Responsibilities: • Communicate with clients about plans for dispersing their assets • Confer with senior partners and paralegals to effectively move through the civil litigation process • Create wills, trusts, and powers of attorney for your clients • Ensure clients are effectively represented at court hearings as needed • Keep client files properly organized and up to date Qualifications: • At least 1-2 years of working in a law firm on on estate planning and probate law issues is necessary • Bachelor’s degree with a legal background and J.D. degree are required • Great communication skills, particularly in stressful and emotional situations • Wide range of knowledge regarding real estate-related topics such as title insurance, wills and trusts, property management, and litigation • Active member of the ABA (American Bar Association) Compensation: $55 - $75 hourly
