    If you have experience in estate planning, you may be an excellent addition to our growing law firm. We are looking for a highly analytical candidate with good negotiation and organizing skills who can work full-time. As our estate planning attorney, you will draft wills, trusts, and powers of attorney for clients and their families. To ensure that an estate's management is handled in accordance with the wishes of the estate owner, this position requires a significant level of responsibility. The applicant we are looking for must have extensive knowledge of estate planning. If this sounds like you, please apply! Responsibilities: • Keep client files properly organized and up to date • Consult clients about your plans for distributing their assets • Work closely with paralegals and senior partners to ensure swift action through the civil litigation process • Educate clients about options for retirement, donating to charity, and purchasing insurance • Ensure clients are effectively represented at court hearings as needed • Provide legal guidance for elder law issues, estate planning, probate, and estate and trust administration. • Create legal documents such as trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and business formation documentation. • Work with clients to develop and execute asset protection and preservation plans. • Handle special needs planning and other related legal areas. • Collaborate with clients, attorneys, and staff to ensure effective case management. Qualifications: • 4-year degree with a legal background and J.D. degree are necessary for this position • Must have worked on estate planning and probate law issues for at least 1-2 years • Member in good standing and actively involved with the ABA (American Bar Association) • Wide range of knowledge regarding real estate-related topics such as title insurance, wills and trusts, property management, and litigation • Excellent communication skills, especially in highly stressful and emotional situations • Elder Law, Estate Planning, and Long-term Care legal expertise. • Washington license in good standing. • Experience in guardianship and elder advocacy. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively. • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
