We have an immediate opening for a qualified Unarmed Security Guard who will support the Department of Parole and Probation, located in Baltimore, Maryland.

The guard must meet the following:

Be a licensed Security Guard in the State of Maryland

Must be a high school graduate or equivalent, with at least two (2) years of experience in security enforcement work. Note: any type of military service may be credited toward meeting this requirement with proper documentation.

Have the ability to meet and deal positively and courteously with the general public.

Speak, read and write English fluently.

Maintain poise and self-control.

Able to stand and/or walk for an entire shift.

Capable of self-defense.

Able to climb stairs and run.

Certified for CPR by a recognized certifying body.

Must not have a criminal record or be on probation.

Shall be required to maintain current First Aid and CPR certifications and show cards upon request.

Have a valid driver’s license.

Must have a reliable vehicle.

Must maintain a neat, well-groomed appearance while on duty

Must have the ability to write incident reports and statements

Able to walk and stand for long periods of time

Schedule: Monday- Friday 8 am- 5 pm
