Trustar Bank is currently seeking an experienced Human Resources Specialist that will primarily be responsible for processing, transmitting and balancing bi-weekly payroll for the Bank. This position will also assist the SVP of Human Resources in various human resource tasks to include recruiting and benefits administration and management.
Summary of Job Duties:
Biweekly Payroll Processing
Monitor on-line timesheet records for completeness for bi-weekly pay periods
Primary contact for payroll system ADP
Input new hire employee data and process terminated employees
Process and document all employee payroll changes
Process and compile termination package
Maintain and secure human resources personnel files for department use
Process bonus, incentive and commission payments
Process biweekly payroll
Payroll and HR reporting monthly, daily, and as requested
Monitor employee leave requests, balances and changes
HR / Administrative
Review and approve HR benefit invoices
Responsible for verification of employment (VOE) inquiries
Provide overall clerical support for Human Resources Department
Assist with annual Benefit Open Enrollment.
Assist with new hire onboarding
Assist with Recruiting efforts, including drafting offer letters and mortgage agreements, phone screen, interviews, candidate sourcing.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements include:
Bachelor’s degree preferred in relevant field.
A minimum of 3 years payroll experience with a working knowledge of ADP or other payroll system is
required.
A minimum of 3-5 years prior experience in Human Resources required.
Must be able to work independently, while being detail oriented and inquisitive.
Must be reliable have the ability to handle confidential information.
Dependability is required.
