    We are seeking a Client Manager. The Client Manager is responsible for the overall relationship with clients, from implementation, everyday problem resolution through renewal activities. The Client Manager will work directly with sales executives and client coordinators to support and service between 12 – 20 groups of clients between $50,000 - $250,000 ANR. They maintain senior management level contact with Benefits, Human Resources, and the financial staff of the client. The Client Manager is also responsible for the service delivery of Health Benefits products and services that ensure client satisfaction.

    Responsibilities Include:

    • Responsible for the ongoing day-to-day involvement with assigned clients, including but not limited to:

      • Problem solving/issue resolution
      • Personal contact with the clients – phone calls, visits, etc.
      • Creates, analyzes, and presents reporting packages
      • Coordinating and presenting renewals, claim reviews, with appropriate follow-through
      • Presenting relevant industry, corporate, etc. issues to client
      • Completes Client Action Plan
      • Recommends appropriate upselling and approach
    • Assumes primary responsibility for implementation of new business in close collaboration with implementation manager, including but not limited to:

      • Working closely with the sales producers to learn not only what was sold but also nuances and personality of group
      • Ensuring timely completion of SPD
      • Set up and maintenance of performance metrics
    • Directs and oversees stop loss renewal with Sales Coordinator/Underwriter

    • Participates in appropriate client/departmental corporate meetings

    • Coordinates communication with client/Health Benefits departments/vendors regarding new groups, terminations, plan changes, issues, new products, etc.

    • Produces other projects, analyses, reports, etc. as directed by client/director/consultant/senior management

    • Other duties as needed/assigned.

    Qualifications Include:

    • 3-5 years client management experience
    • Results oriented and self-motivated
    • Previous experience working in the self-funded insurance industry
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Prior management/leadership skills
    • Ability to interact with senior level executives
    • Thorough understanding of self-funding and employee benefit plans
    • Excellent presentation skills
    • Willingness to travel
    • Bachelor’s Degree or 2-5 years of related experience
    • State insurance license preferred

    The compensation range for this Client Manager role is $64,455 to $121,027. The salary offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan.
