    SUMMARY OF OVERALL PURPOSE

     

    Under the direction of the AVP of Sales Operations, the Salesforce.com Administrator will serve as the subject matter expert and administrator for Salesforce.com and multiple related sales / expense / analytical tools in support of our Sales and Marketing teams. The SFA will administer the Salesforce.com application, including development of the vision and roadmap for sales and marketing systems, integration of Salesforce with other business systems in the division, process development and training.

    ADMINISTRATION

    • Implement / administer / maintain changes to Salesforce.com and related tools (e.g. Workfront; Concur; etc.)
    • Work with Sales, Sales Ops and Operations to manage data in all sales tools to ensure accuracy, consistency and timeliness of updates
    • Assist Sales and Marketing with data development / management / governance for lead generation and marketing campaign activities.
    • Serve as primary administrator for all VBS-related personnel changes in Salesforce.com and integrated systems
    • Evaluate new Salesforce.com releases and apps, participate in plans for their implementation, and remain current with Salesforce administration best practices

    • Participate in the design of project plans for Salesforce.com solutions to meet business needs
    • Work with the divisional Operations area to define parameters / key metrics to drive sales behavior through data, dashboards and activity reporting including VBS Insights
    • Analyze and optimize sales and marketing workflows, suggesting ideas for platform design and setup

    TRAINING

    • Train the Trustmark VBS user base on their roles / responsibilities in Salesforce.com and related tools and enhancements, ensuring each user adheres to those requirements
    • Initiate ideas for training and how to improve adoption
    • Act as the subject matter expert on Salesforce.com and other sales tools (e.g. Workfront; Concur; miEdge; etc.) for Trustmark VBS and maintain a proper level of expertise in such tools through on-going training / classes / etc.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    PREFERRED

    • Salesforce.com administrator certification with two to five years of experience administering Salesforce.com in a sales and marketing environment, with an emphasis on implementation, system support, maintenance and enhancement

    • Ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with internal Trustmark staff and third-party vendors

    • Detail-oriented and able to stay on task and keep others on task, as needed

    • Ability to learn quickly and be comfortable asking questions and seeking answers

    • Strong oral communication skills, willingness to acknowledge inquiries and be responsive/proactive with current project requests and status

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, information technology, computer science or other related field preferred

    • Familiarity with analytics and/or database management with the ability to develop meaningful reports preferred

    • Expertise in data integration and data management methods and tools

    • Ability to successfully communicate with both technical and LOB executives, garner senior-level support and respect with knowledge of the organizational culture, sales and marketing processes, in-depth knowledge of CRM strategy and systems

    • Ability to interact w/business users and translate business needs into solutions
