    JOB PURPOSE:

     

    PATH is looking for highly motivated, self-starters, and enthusiastic interns to work with the PHC team.

     

     

    ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE INTERN INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

    •  Support knowledge management by collecting and collating information available for the PHC scenario in the India and the South Asia hub region of PATH
    • Support landscape assessments to seek, sense and analyze trends in the funding environment and develop relevant documents
    • Conduct secondary research and landscape analysis for material contributing to the development of concept notes and proposals
    • Carry out landscaping of PHC policy efforts in India and the States
    • Provide support to projects with key insights in the PHC/Ayushman Bharat/NHM policy sphere
    • Support the team in coordinating the project management process internally within PATH & external stakeholders
    • Support the team in preparing for meetings internally and externally, including conducting background research on meeting participants and organization focus areas
    • Deliver any other need-based tasks as requested by the project manager
    • Support the team in coordinating the strategic initiatives and proposal development process with PATH internal and external stakeholders
    • Undertake knowledge management by collecting and collating information available under each vertical. This would also include creating and updating program documents and decks
    • Undertake landscape assessments to seek, sense, and analyze trends in the PHC funding environment and develop strategy documents for each vertical to achieve desired objectives
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Demonstrable problem-solving and analytical skills.

     

     

    Required Skills Required Experience

     

     

    • Fresh graduates or final year Bachelor’s/Master’s students in Public Health/Mass Media/Journalism/Public Relations
    • The experience gained as part of previous training, internship, or college dissertation may also be considered.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a complex environment
    • Comfortable with collaborating across all levels of leadership within the organization
    • Basic primary and secondary research and analytical skills
    • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure situations.
    • Excellent command over MS Office applications, especially MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
    • Excellent in written and spoken English
    • Intern to report to Delhi office frequently (based on the COVID-19 situation each month)

     

     

    SKILLS TO BE DEVELOPED AND/OR EXPANDED DURING INTERNSHIP

     

     

    • Understanding of the primary health care ecosystem
    • Knowledge of global health, medical technology innovations, digital health, nonprofit management, and business development
    • Fostering collaboration and coordination among team members
