We are a full-service animal hospital providing comprehensive companion pet healthcare. Our practice stays on top of the latest advances in veterinarian technology and above all, remembers that all animals and pets need to be treated with loving care in every check-up, procedure, or surgery.  To complement our doctors, we have a team of experienced support staff and a strong leadership group who work closely together to deliver the best care to each pet and pet parent.

As a Veterinary Student Extern you will be actively mentored (and depending on your year of school) as you develop technical skills while participating in rounds, surgery, treatments, and consultations with clients. Our industry standard mentorship resource guide will help you and your mentor intentionally identify objectives to focus on to ensure your experience is customized for what you want to achieve.  Your experience could include gathering histories, performing physical examinations, developing diagnostic and therapeutic plans or building case management plans depending on what you are hoping to experience. We are here to help you become the doctor you want to be!

Qualifications

• Enrolled in DVM/VMD program at an AVMA accredited veterinary school
• Invested in building trusting relationships with clients, colleagues, and community
• Motivated for continuous personal and professional growth
• Team player, go-getter, willing to jump-in when needed
• Positive attitude and the desire to learn
• Mindset and drive to grow skillset and the desire to be mentored
