    VP, SALES - JOB DESCRIPTION

We are hiring a talented Sales professional to join our team to sell data services and/or a proprietary data interface primarily to Health Plans, Provider Credentialing organizations and Health Information Technology companies.     RESPONSIBILITIES FOR VP, SALES

    · Research and pursue prospects for new business opportunities, utilizing pre-established contacts and TruthMD’s lead generation services

    · Research and analyze sales options to expand overall sales opportunities and to further penetrate established accounts

    · Build and maintain relationships with clients and prospects and have the ability to wear multiple hats including prospecting, closing deals, contracting, implementation, and on-going client management

    · Stay current with trends and competitors to identify improvements or recommend new products

    · Collect and analyze information and prepare data and sales reports for weekly pipeline meetings

    · Attend workshops to learn more technical and professional skills for the job

    · Build and maintain professional networks including active use of professional social media and participation in trade shows and trade associations

    · Meet with potential clients to determine their needs (approximate travel <20%)

     

    QUALIFICATIONS FOR SALES EXECUTIVE

    · 5 years’ experience in healthcare-related Sales, preferably with a focus on data and/or provider networks

    · Ability to call upon your previously established contacts in the areas of SIU, Provider Data Management, FWA Oversight and Credentialing

    · Knowledge of MS Office software including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

    · Ability to negotiate and to strategize to reach the optimal client solution

    · Self-motivated and goal-oriented, desire to deliver results

    · Ability to create and deliver presentations

    · Fast learner, quick thinker and adaptable to changes that are characteristic of a smaller organization

    · Passionate about sales, driven by goals and confident throughout the process

    · Ability to adapt and grow in a competitive environment

    · A network of established business contacts in the payer space is strongly preferred.

     

    The VP of Sales position is a remote position but quarterly travel to home office in Atlanta will be necessary. Position reports to the SVP, Sales. Salary and bonus structure commensurate to experience and qualifications.
