JOB OVERVIEW

TuSimple is seeking a Marketing intern to support marketing and communications objectives which include promoting the company's image as the leader in autonomous trucking and creating new marketing materials to help us tell our story.  This position will work with the other members of the marketing team to ensure that all tasks are accounted for and properly managed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the planning and coordination of company events both virtual and in person. 
• Conduct industry research to better understand market sentiment and identify messaging opportunities.
• Contribute to social media team content development as needed.
• Analyze and report the effectiveness of key initiatives.
• Support the development of corporate presentations and marketing materials.
• Evaluate opportunities for sponsorships and partnerships. 
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• Pursuing or completion of a BA or MA degree in marketing or communications from a four-year University. 
• Exceptional writing and editing skills.
• Experience creating and editing company presentations and marketing materials.
• Creative thinker capable of coming up with new ideas.
• Proven experience conducting market research to understand market sentiment and the competitive landscape.
• Positive attitude willing to work closely with others.
