    TubeScience is looking for an innovative, self-motivated Creative Strategist to join our growing team! This is a unique opportunity for at-scale impact and rapid learning.

    Quick ‘about us':

    We're a data-driven video startup based in LA that's grown to become the largest producer of video ads on paid social in the 4 years since founding. Collectively, our videos account for ~5% of all paid video views on Facebook and Instagram in North America and reach 100-200 million people per day.

    What You'll Do:

    As a Creative Strategist, you'll be responsible for setting the overall strategic direction for multiple clients. You'll work collaboratively across teams to create top-performing ads, drive creative decision-making, and grow revenue for accounts spending upwards of $1M per month.

    This role is perfect for someone who is highly strategic, consumer-obsessed, and passionate about producing effective creative that sells. Applicants should have a drive to understand ‘What makes a winning ad?' for clients across a breadth of industries. In one of the highest-leverage roles at TubeScience, the Creative Strategist will analyze data sets, debrief large teams on performance, produce briefs to be turned into ads, review consumer research, and provide direction and guidance across team functions.

    Responsibilities

    • Own creative strategy and be responsible for creating strong ads that convert to client revenue growth
    • Use quantitative and creative insights to make high-impact, revenue growing decisions
    • Collaborate with post-production (editors) and the physical production team to produce videos.
    • Give strategic notes that aligns to the creative strategy of the ad
    • Write scripts and copy
    • Ensure visuals match creative strategy outlined for the ad
    • Write strategic briefs outlining scientific, creative tests within ads to gain high-impact learnings
    • Use consumer research, data, and TS creative insights to conduct structured tests with various ads components.
    • Analyze results of tests, forming hypotheses as to why creative concepts succeed or fail, and translate data directly into actionable creative insights and conversation and iterations of ads.
    • Identify top performing concepts, build strategic account plans (sprint planning week to week).
    • Identify top performing concepts and create variations and iterations guidelines to help team members understand how to scale out concepts that are working.
    • Analyze Facebook Ads Manager for optimal performance conditions

    Required Skills and Qualifications

    • 3+ years of relevant experience

    Strong copywriter

    • Can write effective, consumer-centric copy that creates specific audience behavior that converts to consumer sales
    • Can recognize patterns in written copy and replicate the writing components for future copy
    • Can recognize gaps in persuasiveness of messaging
    • Can recognize confusing or unclear messaging
    • Has a strong command of the English language: grammar and syntax.

    Strong analytical skills

    • Can analyze and interpret numbers to draw conclusions about consumer purchasing habits
    • Can apply behavioral concepts in practical situations

    Strong communication skills

    • Can write quickly and concisely; can distill and explain complex concepts to others in writing

    Highly ambitious and Innovative

    • Has a growth mindset; seeks out growth opportunities, and is ambitious about revenue growth opportunities
    • Is highly adaptable and able to take on new challenges, find new opportunities to develop knowledge and contribute to new projects

    Curiosity / Intellectual humility

    • Eager to learn new ideas, and embraces using data-driven conclusions to both guide their creative decisions and determine success. Has an open and flexible mindset, and constantly and systematically adds to their creative repertoire through research
    • Understanding of FB Ads Manager, and/or experience with other ad platforms including Snap, TikTok, Youtube.
    • Paid social or Direct Response experience (work/writing samples are a big plus)
    • Strong Google Sheets and Excel Skills

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent, in a relevant field strongly preferred

    Compensation:

    Note: TubeScience offers remote/flexible work (unless specified to be required to be in-person) and is open to hiring remote candidates who are residents in any US state.

    TubeScience provides the wage ranges it reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for all remote roles and as otherwise required by applicable law. The expected range of starting pay for this role is $75,000 – $95,000 annually. Actual compensation may vary within the listed range based on a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, experience, and specific geographic location.
