Responsibilities: • Tucker Brewing is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head Chef / Kitchen Manager • Supervise all culinary activities and ensure that all food items and products are stored, prepared and served based on the brewery's recipe, preparation, and portion standards • Coaching, evaluating and disciplining kitchen personnel accordingly and making employment and termination decisions • Maintain a clean working environment that is to Health Code standards and making sure that employees follow the brewery’s preventive maintenance measures • Creating and maintaining the overall morale of the kitchen • Maintaining adequate inventory levels and conducting weekly inventories • Working with the owner to create menu items, cost out items, pricing, and establishing portion sizes of each meal Qualifications: • 4+ years in leadership/supervisory culinary role • Be a phenomenal leader with great people skills • Be self-motivated, desire to learn, and enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced and demanding environment • Excellent listening and communication skills • Proven time management and delegation abilities • Capable of producing a consistent product in high volume • Serve Safe Certified • Restaurant Management Experience • Food Safety Regulation Knowledge • Ability to lift and move heavy objects • Be able to multitask and follow instructions • Must be detail-oriented • Must be reliable and punctual • Basic math skills and knowledge of food cost control measures • Ability to work independently and as part of a team Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000 yearly
