About the Role:

Connect Staffing Agency of Georgia is looking for a skilled Tufting Machine Operator to join a dynamic manufacturing team on 3rd shift in Dalton, GA — the carpet capital of the world! This is a great opportunity to put your textile manufacturing expertise to work in a fast-paced production environment with a team that values quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor tufting machines during 3rd shift production runs

Set up, thread, and adjust tufting equipment to meet product specifications

Inspect finished carpet and textile products for quality control and defects

Perform routine machine maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly

Monitor yarn feed, needle alignment, and pile height throughout production

Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with safety standards

Meet production quotas and communicate shift updates to supervisors

Requirements:

Prior experience operating tufting machines or textile/carpet manufacturing equipment preferred

Ability to work 3rd shift hours, including nights and weekends as needed

Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality production standards

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly

Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a team environment

High school diploma or GED preferred
