  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    The tasks and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Publishing Rights Research
    • Artist Outreach and Engagement 
    • Creative Sync Pitching Support
    • New music listening, vetting, asset acquisition
    • Tagging of catalog assets
    • Collaboration on Sample negotiations
    • Third party platform maintenance (DISCO, SyncFloor, CadenzaBox)
    • Mechanical Licensing Assistance
    • Cue sheet tracking and submissions, ad forms to PROs
    • Ad hoc tasks relating to publishing as required
    • Cross-department collaboration as required (Customer Care, Publishing Administration, Artist & Partner Relations, Content Review, Fraud)

    KEY PROJECT 1: PUBLISHING ADMIN CLIENT MAINTENANCE

    • Researching rights for publishing clients
    • Assisting publishing team with registration updates and/or cleanup

    KEY PROJECT 2: CATALOG GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT

    • Identify new artists/writers to add to the sync catalog
    • Update creative tags and music assets (Instrumentals, bios, photos, etc)
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Enrolled in college with a music-focused major or minor
    • Must be part of a credit-bearing college internship program
    • At least one-year of college
    • Strong communications skills: written, verbal and interpersonal
    • Proactive, energetic attitude with a desire to work in a results-oriented and deadline-driven environment.
    • Proficient in Google Docs and Microsoft Office
    • Experience with digital content management systems (especially iTunes Connect, Spotify Catalogue Manager and YouTube Creator Studio) a plus
