    Compensation: $115K–$125K base
    Type: Full-time | Direct Hire | Hands-On Technical Role
Sector: Power Generation | Critical Infrastructure

    About The Company

The company is a rapidly expanding full-service power generation business with $700M in active projects in 2026. Operating at the intersection of engineering, procurement, and power finance, they design, build, and commission generation infrastructure for data centers, manufacturing, and critical national infrastructure across all major platforms except nuclear.

This is a lean, fast-moving environment with no corporate bureaucracy — just high performers doing important work.

    The Opportunity

This is not a management role. This is a hands-on technical position for someone who knows GE aeroderivative turbines from the inside out and takes personal pride in keeping machines running right.

You’ll serve as a key technical expert for LM2500 and LM6000 turbine maintenance, troubleshooting, commissioning, and outage support across a growing power generation portfolio.

    What You’ll Do

    Turbine Maintenance & Field Troubleshooting

    • Serve as the primary technical lead for LM2500 and LM6000 turbine maintenance, outage management, and field troubleshooting

    • Perform and document Hot Section Inspections, combustion inspections, and major maintenance intervals

    • Conduct borescope evaluations, vibration data collection, laser alignment, and precision measurements

    • Support DLE/SAC combustion systems, water injection pumps, and NOx reduction equipment

    Commissioning & Startup Support

    • Support new installation commissioning, including startup, checkout, and performance verification

    • Collaborate with control room operators and electrical technicians during black-start and forced-outage recovery

    • Participate in on-call rotation for plant startup support

    Compliance, Documentation & Equipment Reliability

    • Maintain detailed logs of engine hours, starts, and performance trends for NERC/FERC compliance

    • Manage turbine package auxiliaries including inlet air filtration, enclosure ventilation, and fire suppression systems

    • Travel to project sites as needed to inspect, evaluate, or commission turbine equipment

You’d Be a Great Fit If You Have:

    • 3–5+ years of hands-on maintenance experience on GE LM2500 and/or LM6000 aeroderivative gas turbines

    • GE Field Service Certification Level 1 or 2 preferred; equivalent documented training considered

    • Strong experience with borescope inspection, vibration analysis, laser alignment, and precision measurement tools

    • Expert-level LOTO and Arc Flash knowledge

    • Familiarity with ASME, ANSI, NFPA 70/NEC, and ILEE standards

    • Experience with balance-of-plant systems including HRSGs, condensers, and cooling towers

    • GE Mark VIe or Woodward MicroNet navigation experience preferred

    • A self-directed, gritty, accountable work style suited for a startup culture

    Military Backgrounds Welcome

U.S. Navy veterans with GSM or MM ratings are strongly encouraged to apply.

    Compensation & Benefits

    • Base salary: $115,000–$125,000

    • Exceptional candidates considered up to $135,000

    • COBRA payment coverage during benefits transition period

    • 10 paid federal holidays + 2 weeks PTO

    • Significant upward mobility into commissioning, engineering leadership, or long-term service organization roles

    • Work alongside a team with 120+ years of combined power generation experience

    Working Conditions

    • Primary location: Houston, TX shop facility; must be able to report on-site

    • Field travel required to job sites and inspection locations, domestic and potentially international

    • Ability to work in high-temperature environments near operating machinery

    • Extended shifts during spring and fall outage seasons
