    Job Description

    Application Packagers help organizations across the globe be more effective by migrating applications to the Turbo platform. Application Packagers build, test, debug, and customize containerized applications for use on Turbo.

    Ideal candidates are detail oriented, can diagnose and solve challenging technical problems, and are passionate about customer success.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Create high quality application packages in Turbo for a wide variety of off-the-shelf and custom applications and software components

    • Test virtualized applications and analyze application errors

    • Work with developers to identify and address defects and maintain accurate defect tracking records

    • Quickly learn new technologies appropriate to relevant application domains

    • Work effectively with development team members, product management, and customers to successfully migrate customer applications to the Turbo platform

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Ability to master Turbo Studio and Turbo Continuous Integration (CI) tools, and use these tools to efficiently create high quality application packages
    • Ability to diagnose and resolve issues with virtualized applications using a range of diagnostic tools including Turbo Studio, Wireshark, WinDBG, etc.
    • Strong technical and problem-solving skills, including experience in scripting
    • Ability to master Turbo Script and PowerShell scripting
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or closely related discipline, or equivalent work experience preferred
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to use a computer during most work hours; and the ability to work independently and with other team members in a fast-paced, high growth environment

    Familiarity with software packaging technologies such as MSI, App-V, SCCM, ThinApp, etc is preferred but not required.

    As this position is partially or fully remote, candidates must have access to high speed Internet and a suitable desktop computer work environment.
