Job Description

Turf Paradise, the only race horse track in Phoenix, is currently hiring part-time tellers to work at our off-track betting locations through out Metro Phoenix, Arizona. Off Track Mutuel Tellers work in locations through-out the state of Arizona. They are responsible for the selling and cashing of all mutuel tickets for simulcast races. Also responsible for maintaining a change bank, and for cashing and selling tickets. Must complete required paperwork and balance bank at end of shift. Promotes positive public relations. Stays informed of any promotions or event with accurate information to provide to the patrons if asked. Responds to customer requests and complaints by reporting same. Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned. Job Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Must have a clean criminal background (no felony convictions)
• Must speak English
• Cash handling experience
• Good understanding of horse race betting desired
• Prior mutuel teller experience is preferred but not required
• Must be reliable to work as scheduled
