Turion Space is seeking an MBA Intern to join the team in Irvine, CA and support the Vice President of Business Development in government and commercial business development initiatives. In this role, the MBA Intern will also have the opportunity to research revenue models for a variety of products including software, hardware, and analytics-based offerings. Additionally, the Intern will contribute to product demonstrations, business development, and outreach activities and have the ability to collaborate in the drafting of proposals, journal and/or conference articles, and attend related events. Responsibilities: • Support the identification, evaluation, and execution of strategic business development activities • Use strategy frameworks, conduct primary and secondary market research, and develop strategies to set up new business initiatives • Lead and execute new business initiatives and track KPIs • Assist with the identification of new business opportunities • Develop business cases with detailed financial analysis for new business development initiatives • Prepare presentations in support of business development activities • Contribute and actively participate in communicating Turion's strategy throughout the organization Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience working in a role that required direct application of aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science to solve technical problems • 2+ years of experience in management consulting, corporate development, or strategy role • Experience with PL and market forecasting • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Self-driven and motivated with strong persuasive skills • Currently enrolled in full-time Masters of Business Administration degree program • Ability to support demanding schedule that comes with working at start-ups/early stage companies Compensation: $25 - $65 hourly
