    Turion Space is seeking skilled Electric propulsion engineers. As an Electric Propulsion Engineer, you will develop, design, analyze, build, test, and integrate the electric propulsion system and subcomponents utilized aboard all Turion Space Droid Spacecraft. Your experience, creativity, and ambition will directly impact the architecture of the vehicle's propulsion system as the mission grows in complexity increase in complexity. Generous equity compensation Responsibilities: • Design, build, test, and operate cold gas and electric propulsion systems • Perform component and system-level design, analysis, and trade studies • Develop and execute component and system-level test plans • Work closely with other teams to model, simulate, and control the propulsion systems • Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring additional teammates to our rapidly-growing team Qualifications: • Bachelor of Science degree in a technical discipline (e.g. engineering, physics) • Experience with the development of electric propulsion systems and/or subsystems. • 3+ years of industry experience with fluid systems or spacecraft propulsion design, test, or both • Demonstrated ability to personally design, build, and test hardware from scratch • Must be able to work extended hours and weekends as needed PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE • Demonstrated experience in designing, testing, and operating spacecraft propulsion systems • Specific experience with low thrust monopropellant and green monopropellant systems • Experience with propulsion system process development including manifold manufacturing and welding • Experience with Python (Numpy, Scipy) and C++ • Familiarity with reading and writing technical standards • Familiarity with propellant material compatibility • Familiarity with weld and weld inspection standards and best practicesTo conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, the applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by ITAR (22 CFR §120.15), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State. ITAR REQUIREMENTS Compensation: $80,000-$120,000 yearly
