When applying for this job remember one thing –

At Turn It On Electric, we're here to give our customers a remarkable experience.

Our founder started Turn It On Electric because he believed that we could service our customers better while remaining competitive. He knew there were too many customers not getting what they paid for when they needed electrical service work.

Fast forward eight years and Turn It On Electric is one of the most highly-rated service electrician companies in Phoenix. In fact, it's our goal to continue to expand our team into other markets by serving our customers better than the competition. We must ensure our customers associate Turn It On Electric with high-quality, honest, affordable work.

As an Inside Sales Representative at Turn It On Electric, you're one of the first people our customers speak with, so it's critical you exemplify the image our customers expect from us.

It's the responsibility of the Inside Sales Representative to make sure our customers are excited to do business with Turn It On Electric because of the way you greet them and the enthusiasm you have for helping. It's also the rep's responsibility to answer new customer inquiries and book appointments.

Let's start with what we're not looking for.

We're not looking for someone who wants to punch a clock, do just enough to get the work done, and be satisfied with the status quo.

At Turn It On Electric, our entire team goes out of their way to make sure our customers only receive 5-star service. Even if something was done incorrectly by someone else, we correct it!

To make sure you'll fit in with our team, it's important you understand who we are and what drives us.

We're always looking for the right people who want to grow with us as we expand our commitment to our customers.

    • This should include at least two years of experience focusing on sales, client retention, and growth.
    • You should have at least two years of sales experience with consistently hitting your goals, handling high-conflict situations, and achieving other sales responsibilities.
    • At least one year of outbound cold calling and at least two years of inbound call experience is required.
    • Trucking, dispatching, and route management experience is highly desired.
    • Bilingual (Spanish) is helpful, but not required.

We know who we are as a company and we know what's important to us. Our values impact the decisions we make every day and are critical to your success in this role.

OWN YOUR WORK – it means never saying "it's not my job." As the Inside Sales Representative, you're responsible for helping prospective customers commit to doing business with us, even if they spoke with someone else first. You'll follow up on missed leads or potential leads who initially spoke with someone else. However, the final outcome will be your responsibility.

RESPECT OTHERS & THE PROCESS – Everyone brings value to the team and the work we provide. The Inside Sales Representative at Turn It On Electric believes we have a level of quality to deliver that's a notch above the rest. You know that you're part of a larger team and we all work together to take care of our customers. When we respect the processes at Turn It On Electric, we know that we're protecting our company and our customers.

LOVE WHAT WE DO – This must be more than a job. You have to love the work we do, the customers we serve, and the difference we make. The Inside Sales Representative at Turn It On Electric is usually the first person a customer interacts with. Remember, many of our customers have an electrical problem, and they need someone to help them solve it. They aren't always having a great day, and the Inside Sales Representative will be able to work with incoming callers to resolve their problem by booking the appointment. You're always looking for ways to do better, be better, and deliver better. You want every experience to be a 5-star experience, even if we mess up. If you don't love the work we do, like the customers we serve, and love being a part of a team, then this isn't for you.

BE AWARE OF YOUR IMPACT – As an Inside Sales Representative, you know how important details are. You need to have experience with the negative consequences associated with missing the details and how to resolve it. We work in an industry where people can die if we don't pay attention to the details. Be proud of the work you do and excited to pay attention to the seemingly minute details so we can deliver better service than the competition. You value details because you know when you miss details, someone else has to come behind you and pick up the pieces.

    • Confirm next day's appointments by 3:00 p.m., either by phone or email.
    • Follow up on all previous day's appointments using a script to ensure customer satisfaction and request 5-star review.

    • PASS A DRUG SCREEN AND BACKGROUND CHECK. It's a requirement for the job so if you have concerns about being able to pass, don't apply.
    • WILLING AND ABLE TO LEARN. We're always creating new and better ways to deliver for our customers. You'll need to learn new ways of doing things even if it's different than the way you've always done it.
    • EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. Being able to understand the impact of your decisions on both the customer and the team is critical.
    • TYPICAL OFFICE ENVIRONMENT. Climate-controlled, extended periods of sitting, but also standing, walking, and navigating stairs. We are a fast-paced office. When a client call comes in, we drop what we're doing to accommodate their needs.
