    • $28.00 - $32.00 per hour depends on experience

    What You're Responsible For

    Being a Construction Electrician isn't about pulling cable and correctly hooking up power – although that is a part of the job.

    You'll be responsible for making sure the client receives 5-star service every step of the way.

    To succeed in this position, you must:

    • Operate any hand tools, power tools, and equipment necessary to get the job done correctly
    • Effectively communicate the status of jobs you're working on with the office and your team
    • Accurately complete all job-related paperwork
    • Leave the job site cleaner than you found it
    • Follow the electrical code properly and safely
    • Be capable of reading & understanding drawings
    • Bend all conduit types & sizes EMT, IMC & Rigid and without unnecessary waste
    • Be capable of power and lighting panel installations
    • Be able to install lighting fixtures and controls
    • Be able to install receptacles, switches, and trim
    • Pull wire and terminations, both low voltage and high voltage
    • Have proper PPE (ie: safety glasses, hard hat, gloves vest, &_ _hard toe work shoes)
    • Be willing to work from heights – safely
    • Use your knowledge of NEC
    • OSHA10 or OSHA 30 desired

    General Requirements

    • BE AN EXPERIENCED CONSTRUCTION ELECTRICIAN with 3-5 YEARS of experience in the field.
    • HAVE YOUR OWN HAND TOOLS such as screwdrivers, hammer, small drill & bits, tester, etc.
    • BE NEAT, PRESENTABLE, AND PROFESSIONAL. The way you present yourself is a direct reflection on Turn It On Electric. You know the importance of impressions and show up every day professionally and presentable.
    • SERVICE-ORIENTED. This is more than putting in a good day's work. You're willing to go out of your way to deliver excellent service to all of our clients.
    • POSITIVE. We all know a few “Negative Nellies.” We do our best to build a team of positive thinking people. We acknowledge that sometimes you'll have a bad day and we'll work through it. Overall your outlook about the career you've chosen is a positive one.
    • PASS A DRUG SCREEN AND BACKGROUND CHECK. It's a requirement for the job, so if you have concerns about being able to pass, don't apply.
    • WILLING AND ABLE TO LEARN. We're always creating new and better ways to deliver for our clients. You'll need to learn new ways of doing things even if it's different than the way you've always done it.
    • CLEAN DRIVING RECORD AND A VALID AZ DRIVER'S LICENSE. It's a requirement for the job so if you don't have it, don't apply.
    • BE ABLE TO LIFT 50 POUNDS – Must be able to lift unassisted and frequently throughout the day.
    • SAFE OPERATION OF ALL TOOLS AND MATERIALS – Must be able to safely use cable cutters, hammer drills, compression tools, and other power equipment necessary for the job.
    • WORKING A 40-HOUR WEEK WITH OVERTIME AS REQUIRED

    $28.00 - $32.00 per hour depends on experience
