Key Responsibilities:
Schedule appointments, manage calendars, and coordinate travel arrangements.
Organize conference calls and arrange meeting logistics.
Prepare expense reports, check requests, and legal/business documents under tight deadlines.
Open new files, conduct conflict of interest checks, and manage client and general files.
Draft engagement agreements and trial documents, perform document scanning, and handle court e-filings.
Answer and screen phone calls, take messages for attorneys, and greet clients and visitors.
Enter attorney time, process monthly bills, and serve as the primary liaison for billing-related matters.
Assist other secretaries, manage mail, and maintain legal documents in both paper and electronic formats.
Handle messenger, postal, fax, or courier service arrangements as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
3+ years of legal assistant experience in a law firm or professional services organization.
3+ years litigation experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint).
Highly self-motivated with a proactive approach.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and analytical abilities.
Superior time management skills.
