Our client is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to join their team!
Location: Bethesda, MD
Responsibilities:
- Supports the company’s strategic goals in the areas of performance management, employee engagement, reward and recognition programs, employee development, HR policies and procedures, employee relations, and change management.
- Identifies, develops and implements engagement and retention strategies for a diverse workforce and manages the employee engagement surveys.
- Monitors turnover data and implement programs to address issues/concerns.
- Maintains Employee Handbook
- Implements career development programs and coaching managers on career counseling.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years Human Resources Generalist/Business Partner experience with emphasis in employee relations, engagement, development, retention, and recognition.
- Bachelor’s degree only required if candidate has less than 10 years’ experience
- PHR/SPHR preferred
- Previous experience working in a banking environment strongly preferred!
- Excellent knowledge of employment law
- Excellent consultative, influencing, analytical, organizational, and diplomacy skills.
