Our client is seeking a Benefits Manager to join their team!
*CONTRACT-TO-HIRE*
Location: Washington, DC; remote flexiblity
- · Responsibilities:
- Develops, implements, administers and maintains benefit programs, policies, and procedures
- Works closely with HRIS Manager & Analyst to ensure current and new privately funded benefits and carrier feeds are set up properly
- Ensures all new hire and ongoing benefit elections and enrollments are accurate and meet deadlines
- Conducts ongoing audits, analysis, and troubleshooting and recommendations and implements ways to improve
- Responds to audit questions and is diligent about ensuring data accuracy
- Provides regular reporting to Director of HR CFO, etc. and generates EEO1, ACA, etc. to ensure compliance
- Serves as a liaison to the benefit brokers throughout the year
- Actively participates in HR team meetings
- · Qualifications:
- Seasoned benefits administrator & expert that can write documents and handle audits
- Someone with consulting experience and/or HRIS experience
- 8-10 years’ minimum of benefits experience
- If this person has special accommodations evaluation and documentation experience, that would be ideal!
- Super attentive to detail
- Analytical
- Good with numbers, Microsoft Excel and reports
- Needs benefits management experience
- Strong interpersonal, data management, analytical, and writing skills
- Ability to demonstrate an organized approach to ensuring benefit plan documentation and statutory compliance, attention-to-detail and SOP documentation
- Problem solver who works well under pressure
- Can work with light supervision, is a collaborator/team player, and will reach out when they need something
