We are currently working with a growing Nonprofit in DC that is looking to hire a Grants Finance & Accounting Manager. The organization is a 501c3 that has seen tremendous growth over the past three years and continues to grow. This is newly created position that will report to the Controller and work with the CFO daily. 

This position will be responsible for overseeing the grants accounting team, helping prepare the annual budget, monthly forecast & variance analysis, and will help support cashflow reporting. 

Role: Grants Finance & Accounting Manager

Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements including ad-hoc analysis. 
• Prepare the annual budget and monthly forecasts.
• Manage cash flows for the organization.
• Review monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.

Preferred/Required Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance Preferred
• 5+ years of Nonprofit Accounting or Grants Accounting Experience is Required
• CPA or MBA is preferred
• Hands on experience Budgeting & Cashflow Reporting
• Grants Experience is required
