Our client is seeking a Business Development/Capture Specialist to join their team!
Location: Washington D.C.
Responsibilities:
- Help to scale growth within both commercial organizations and public sector agencies by building relationships to communicate solutions and capabilities.
- Develop campaigns to gain exposure to public and commercial sector customers (white papers, marketing collateral, etc.)
- Develop customer and teaming partner relationships
- Build, mature and maintain an opportunity pipeline of public and commercial sector accounts.
- Work with Director to negotiate teaming agreements, subcontracts for opportunities.
- Prepare documentation to support bid decision process and make bid/no-bid recommendations to leadership.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ related experience of Federal Government Capture and Commercial Sales, and/or Business Development experience
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Understanding of federal government, as well as, federal government capture experience.
- Proven technical knowledge/understanding and the ability to work with a technical team.
- Understanding of “solution sales” business models.
- Proven track record in identifying and capturing new business and maintaining relationships for follow-on work.
