Our client is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Support pre-construction engineering and design efforts.
- Assist project managers overseeing awarded construction projects.
- Coordinate Government acquisition efforts for A/E services and Construction projects.
- Provide Subject Matter Expertise in managing studies and designs for real property facilities, including MEP utility systems.
- Offer engineering support and analysis for awarded study and design contracts.
- Conduct site evaluations, field surveys, and code compliance assessments.
- Support the Government in developing technical requirements, cost estimates, and schedules for A/E services.
- Conduct design technical reviews from concept to 100% design drawings and manage the submittal review process.
- Lead and participate in regular project progress meetings and program progress meetings.
- Track and manage data submissions from various stakeholders.
- Maintain construction administration data for senior leadership review.
- Prepare and present project status briefings and technical reports.
Requirements:
- BS in Mechanical Engineering with 10+ years of experience
- OR 15+ years of experience in the design/construction or operations of specific equipment with a Professional Engineer (PE) License.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
