This Turn2Partners client is an enterprise Financial Services firm based in the DC Metro area.

We are partnering with them in a critical search for a Sr. Governance Risk & Compliance Specialist with specific expertise in Application Security and Vulnerability Management.

In this position, you will coordinate multiple teams within the IT organization to reduce and remove risks, identify security gaps, develop efficiencies and improvements and improve security metrics for the enterprise

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Strong business acumen and security technology skills for well-rounded proficiency, as well as proven ability to align with security practices and compliance responsibilities
• Excellent presentation skills and ability to translate complex technical concepts to less technical staff.
• Stay abreast of the latest technologies, concepts and best practice
• Experience with managing vendors, vendor contracts and drive through complex implementation processes in partnership with selected vendors
• Ability to identify approaches, risks, mitigation strategies to meet client/functional requirements
  

Ideally, you will have a:

• Consulting experience highly desired.
• Track record of acting with integrity, taking pride in work, seeking to excel, being curious and adaptable, and communicating effectively
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in computer science, information assurance
• CRISC, CISM, CISA, or CISSP, preferred
