    Overview:

    Turner Staffing Group is partnered with an International Mining Services company that is looking for a Contracts Specialist to join their team! This position will be responsible for assisting with contract processing for goods and services at a specific Company site, or potentially across multiple sites, working remote. This position directly supports specific areas of the mining operation and requires the ability to partner with internal and external business partners to successfully achieve the objectives of the operations teams.

    Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for completing contracts, based on Company templates, that cover the requirements provided in the Scope of Work.
    • The Scope of Work will require thorough review on the technical data to ensure the contract contains the negotiated rates, warranties, KPI's, etc.
    • Once the contract draft has been completed, send to the Supplier for review.
    • Make sure the Supplier has completed the review in a timely manner and review any red-lines and or requested changes to the document.
    • Work with Legal Counsel and Procurement Lead to ensure document is completed and fully executed.
    • Complete any internal documents, ROAAE's; make sure they have been reviewed and fully executed.
    • Support ongoing contract management as well as coordination of information to provide the end-users.
    • Maintain contracts register along with all documentation.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Accounting or related field or equivalent experience required.
    • Four (4) to six (6) years of directly related procurement experience or equivalent combination of training and experience required.
    • Strong computer skills using office software such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio required.
    • Proven attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
    • Excellent organizational, time management and office management skills.
    • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently.
    • Demonstrated well-developed interpersonal skills, with a courteous and pleasant customer service focus.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Capability to multi-task, self-manage and self-motivate.Demonstrated good attendance and performance records with the ability to maintain these same standards.
