Turner Mining Group is looking for mining engineer interns to join us this summer for an unmatched intern experience. Our internship program is built to provide an outstanding experience on how mining operations work inside and out. Our interns will work alongside top industry leaders and become exposed to a variety of mining operations throughout the United States. Beyond that, we are committed to truly preparing our interns for graduation by providing career services as well as career mapping.

Key Responsibilities:

• Acquire knowledge of various mining and civil operations (both aggregates and metal mining operations)
• Assigned to the following tasks: quantity take off and estimating
• Attribute project management tasks for selected project sites
• Gain exposure to typical activities performed by our engineers, estimators, and project managers on selected project sites
• Utilize various skillsets/knowledge of routine operations to achieve project goals
• Create a presentation of internship and present their experience to executive leadership on what they learned and how they believe they made a positive impact to our organization
