A Leader’s Scope
The Talent Acquisition Manager’s responsibilities are broad and strategic, as well as managerial and tactical. Reporting to the COO, this role will require an intentional and consultative leader to operations. Focused on ensuring that Turner Mining Group’s hiring practices support our organization’s mission, vision, and culture. The Talent Acquisition Manager will manage recruiting, interviewing, applicant tracking, offer letters, and new hire support that will impact nationwide operations.
With the goal of sustaining an engaged workforce, the Talent Acquisition Manager oversees and provides best practice candidate management and consistency. The ideal candidate will have the following personal and professional characteristics:

This individual will bring a deep appreciation for the complex challenges facing the workforce of the mining and heavy civil industry, paired with an excitement to be part of a team that is focused on identifying creative and strategic solutions to ensure Turner Mining Group’s organization continues to thrive.

The Talent Acquisition Manager must have both general knowledge of the principles and best practices of managing high volume hiring as well as strategic and tactical hires.
