    Job Description

    Turner & Townsend Infrastructure’s team is seeking a Construction Scheduler in the New York City metro area with Infrastructure construction experience (Aviation, Rail, Tunnels, Transportation, Power/Utilities).

    Our ideal candidate:

    • A minimum of 4 years in project level scheduling for large infrastructure projects including commuter rail, bus, roadway, bridges, tunnels, stations, aviation, and/or trackwork projects.
    • Extensive knowledge of the Greater New York transportation industry including New Jersey Transit
    • Experience in scheduling / project controls
    • Strong experience in forecasting construction durations and logic, including the durations for design, pre-construction, heavy construction, testing, commissioning, and closeout.
    • Excellent professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
    • Experience of working on Design-Build projects

    Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Prepare and/or analyze program and project level schedules
    • Independently generate schedules based on an evaluation of the overall program/project scope, including generating quantities, schedule duration, and logic
    • Prepare and/or analyze overall project resource and cost allocations
    • Assist the project staff with the management of project‘s risk, budget, and schedule
    • Assist with analysis, and report on the project key performance metrics
    • Follow appropriate internal control safeguards to ensure consistent reporting of accurate information
    • Prepare monthly and as-required schedule analysis reports
    • Prepare and/or analyze time-impact analysis reports
    • Evaluate contractor delay claims
    • Must understand construction means and methods
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • On-site or In-office presence is required. Requirements may change depending on our client's needs.

      • Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

      • 4-7 years or more of P6 construction scheduling experience is required

      • Experience with Greater New York City transportation agencies, may include MTA, Amtrak, NJ Transit, PATH, NYNJPA, etc.

      • PSP, or similar certifications preferred

    Additional Information

    The salary range for this full-time role is $100K-$165K per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate’s experience and qualifications.
