    Job Description

     

    TURNER & TOWNSEND are seeking the ideal PROJECT ANALYST to work with our San Francisco Bay area real estate construction team and support a key technology client with large-scale corporate office construction projects. The Project Analyst will organize components of projects for internal and external parties. Under the leadership of the Project Controls Manager / Cost Manager, the Process Analyst's duties will include reviewing costs, coordination of schedules and activities, tracking progress, and reporting results.

     

     JOB OBJECTIVES:

    • Provide support to the Project Controls Manager and Project Team throughout project lifecycle.
    • Track and maintain budgets and analyze and report weekly/monthly trends in the budget.
    • Assist in the preparation of monthly project controls report and other progress reports to the client.
    • Perform quantity take-offs and review estimates.
    • Review subcontractor authorizations (perform bid normalization).
    • Review contractor/subcontractor monthly pay applications.
    • Review and approve change orders.
    • Track and report cost savings.
    • Maintain the standards, processes, procedures, and deliverables for all reporting activities for assigned delivery team.
    • Conduct background research, data collection and benchmarking.
    • Liaise with the client, contractors and designers.
    • Respond to ad hoc requests for data and tools.
    • Document control.

     

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

     

    • Degree qualifications preferred.
    • 2+ years working experience Project Controls on commercial real estate / office construction projects.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Suite of Applications.
    • Advanced skills with report writing and presentations.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including documentation.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills.
    • The tenacity and drive to inject value and create solutions.
    • Develops good working relationships with project team.
    • Ability to travel if required.
    • Good organization skills, ability to multi-task, and be a team player.
