    Job Description

    Turner & Townsend are engaged to support our client with many complex projects, and we are seeking the ideal Procurement Consultant to work within a new and dynamic team on our client’s large-scale data center construction program. You have a chance to be a key player in our technological future, as part of a team of innovative professionals shaping our built environment.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Draft bidding schedule
    • Coordinate with client procurement team on their requirements
    • Review quotations of consultants, General Contractors and Equipment suppliers
    • Negotiate rates, scope and clarifications and exclusions with suppliers
    • Review SoW Contracts and route contracts for approval
    • Track contract approvals
    • Coordinate with client procurement and legal teams and general contractor
    • Undertake bid levelling and make recommendations to client
    • Issue bid levelling recommendations to client and incorporate feedback
    • Attend meetings with GC, Equipment Suppliers and Vendors as required
    • Attend escalation meetings as required
    • Chair progress meetings with GC’s, Equipment suppliers & vendors
    • Track change orders
    • Assess change orders and make recommendations to the client
    • Attend lessons learned workshops with the client
    • Track costs and PO’s in the system
    • Issue final recommendations
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years working in a procurement role
    • Experience working with contracts, vendors & contractors, design consultants and equipment vendors
    • Basic scheduling experience to draft up bid schedules
    • Effectively communicate and lead meetings with suppliers
    • Detail oriented with the ability to work with speed and accuracy
    • Advanced skills with spreadsheets, charts, and presentations.
    • Ability to develop good working relationships within different client cultures and across multiple project teams.
