Critical to achieving this milestone is a multi-disciplinary marketing and business development function that strengthens the Turner & Townsend brand and supports our client-facing professionals in capturing new opportunities and growing existing business. The BUSINESS GENERATION & MARKETING MANAGER is an integral contributor to this team, driving localized marketing and communications strategy and new business development within the region, markets, and across the Energy and Natural Resources segment.

JOB SUMMARY:
Working closely with our Natural Resources Directors, technical staff, and business development professionals, across the region, as well as other Turner & Townsend colleagues, the BUSINESS GENERATION & MARKETING MANAGER, ENERGY & NATURAL RESOURCES, USA will be responsible for developing, planning, and implementing a marketing and business development program to expand Turner & Townsend’s brand profile and market share across the segment. This person will be responsible for developing, planning, and implementing marketing campaigns in the Energy, Oil & Gas, Renewables, and Natural Resources space, and leading the team’s timely involvement and response to new business opportunities (i.e., RFP responses and proposal development). This individual will also work with our Natural Resources Lead to research, budget, and plan the team’s involvement in organizations and conferences and support communications and PR campaigns that promote our expertise, amplify our voice and magnify our influence within the rapidly expanding and evolving segment across the United States.
To be successful, the incumbent must be able to demonstrate a sound understanding of marketing and communications planning, effectively lead the proposal/bid preparation process, and demonstrate strong project management skills. This individual must think strategically, communicate clearly and be able to work with stakeholders to help formulate a viewpoint on complex issues, creating concise and well-written business narratives. The professional will nurture highly collaborative internal client relationships with segment/service line professionals and SMEs to drive an integrated approach.

Qualifications
To provide the support that Turner & Townsend’s client-facing professionals require, the incumbent will need 5-8 years of marketing and business development experience, preferably within an Energy, Oil & Gas, Renewables, and Natural Resources or B2B professional services environment.
