    Do you want to be part of the in-house team helping one of the biggest technology companies in the world deliver their vision?  Turner & Townsend are engaged to support our client with many complex projects, and we are seeking the ideal Supply Chain Performance Project Manager/ Consultant to act as the day-to-day interface with the client and drive this project to achieve an excellent outcome.     Job Objectives:

     

    • Developing necessary metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess and quantify critical supplier performance, by collaborating with other teams.
    • Analyzing and trending supplier performance per the stated KPI’s and preparing the necessary insights for executives from both teams. 
    • Administering existing performance reporting tools and assessments so project health and supplier performance can be established and quantified in a timely and effective manner. This will include collaborating with on-site schedulers, estimators and supplier teams to ensure reports are completed as needed.
    • Experiment with, and implement, Lean techniques to track efficiency, predictability and value-add from suppliers on projects, such as Project Production Management (PPM). 
    • Uncover ways to streamline project reporting and analysis, such as the automation of reporting and/or creation of supplier-facing portals where KPIs can be trended and regularly accessed when needed. 
    • Coordinating and organizing formal Business Reviews with internal stakeholders and supplier representatives.
    • Establishing effective supplier relationships on behalf of the owner team to promote continuous improvement and long-term relationships between both parties.

    Qualifications

     

    EXPERIENCE:

     

    • In-depth understanding of Project Controls reporting methodologies and critical success factors, especially in quantifying the above to inform core investment decisions for owners and setting improvement targets.
    • Demonstrated record of identifying, initiating, and tracking supplier cost and schedule performance on projects.
    • Strong analytical skills, intermediate- expert understanding of Excel or Google Sheets, data visualization capabilities, desired. 
    • Has applied Project Management interventions and reporting on multiple projects and is familiar with best practice Project Management and Lean Construction principles. 
    • Has built and developed dashboards as part of client deliverables previously.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

     

    Minimum qualifications:

     

    • At least 4 years’ of working in a Project Management or Project Controls Reporting environment.
    • Successfully established ways of tracking and quantifying project/supply-chain performance where they did not exist previously.
    • On repeated occasions has provided findings of analysis to inform critical Owner investment decisions.
    • Supplier Relationship Management- Well versed in addressing needs on behalf of the Owner with suppliers, while building positive professional relationships with both parties. 
    • Stakeholder management and alignment is able to organize, coordinate action independently while keeping all peers sufficiently informed.
    • Communication: Experience presenting in front of clients with confidence and thorough preparation
    • Self-Starter: Proactive in response to addressing issues and opportunities
    • Innovative: Finding new ways to address problems or learn new skills

     

    Preferred qualifications:

     

    • Lean six sigma (Green belt)
    • PMI or CAPM accredited
    • RICS
