Turning Basin Labs (www.turningbasinlabs.com) is hiring a world class Recruitment Manager to own engagement with employers and workers. We are California’s first worker-owned DEI-focused staffing agency to pipeline candidates in to industries such as tech, heavy industry, low wage roles, and more. We are focused on driving the right balance between worker pay and employer productivity.
You will be someone with 5+ years experience in the staffing industry working with timesheets, payroll, and compliance, ideally in the state of CA. You will be a self-starter, people focused, and have an entrepreneurial spirit coursing through your veins!

Responsibilities:
Recruit and qualify member workers for placement at DEI-friendly employers.
Aggressively hunt for new sales opportunities and follow-up on leads in a professional manner from idea to close.
Demonstrate knowledge of Turning Basin Labs services and value propositions.
Be a true "student of the game" and subject matter expert around cutting edge developments in the staffing needs of organisations in the Bay Area, and the pain points facing recruiters and staffing professionals.
Meet monthly and quarterly recruitment, revenue, and KPI objectives.
Execute value generating collaboration with our Community Manager to ensure you have a deep understanding of the talent and capabilities we offer employers.
Requirements:
Demonstrable track record of achievement in staffing (no college degree required).
Must be a highly motivated self-starter who is versatile enough to be an exceptional team player as well as an effective independent contributor.
Strong communication skills and ability to partner with hiring managers on varied roles.
Attention to detail in regards to contracts, compliance, payments, and core staffing agency processes.
This role will report to the Turning Basin Labs Managing Director and will be primarily based at our startup co-working space near Market and Montgomery in downtown San Francisco or our space in Oakland.
