At Turning Basin Labs, we are experiencing a wonderful period of growth as the direct result of successes in various public and private sector development efforts, increased policy support for workers rights, and an operational infrastructure and focus to support the onboarding of vested employer partners.To continue on this upward trajectory, the Employer Engagement Specialist will have an immediate impact on our productivity, streamlining strategic initiatives, overseeing employer engagement efforts and a process by which we onboard and assess their needs for talent.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in public and/or private sector environments supporting and leading customer relation management, business operations, and account management. Our goal is to onboard at least ten (10) new employer partners ready to hire TBL talent in the next fiscal year. The ideal candidate thrives in an entrepreneurial, start-up environment and derives motivation from building systems and processes, versus plugging into an established structure.
SCOPE SUMMARY
The Employer Relations Specialist will be responsible for developing relationships with employers, senior executives, tech, green tech and incubator start-up owners, nonprofit leaders and successfully support efforts to place TBL clients into jobs and collaborate with outreach and program management efforts to provide ongoing support services. This position requires someone that has experience in workforce development, for-profit work, career services, and business development.

COMPENSATION and LOCATION
The hiring salary for this position is an annual compensation of $90-$100,000.
Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's location and experience.
This position is 100% remote and may be located anywhere in California. Occasional travel to the Bay Area for team development may be required.
