    Turning Point Search is looking for a Business Analyst / Systems Analyst to support Manufacturing Execution Systems for automotive production plant locations within North America. This is a direct hire position into a global Tier 1 Automotive Supplier in Troy.

    This is a role in operations and involves gathering and analyzing data from the company's manufacturing execution / smart factory systems and providing support for these systems and SAP. We are looking for a candidate with strong Excel and SAP, who has experience analyzing systems and working with IT.

    Up to 50% travel within plant locations in North America can be expected. Predominantly EST time zone.

    Responsibilities

    • Gather and analyze business process requirements for manufacturing plant execution systems (Hydra) and SAP.
    • Participate in global system enhancement projects / rollouts.
    • Implement business processes as designed with feedback from Process Owners.
    • Provide expertise in application functionality and train users on system capabilities.
    • Documents and presents implementation options to the end-user community.
    • Provide global template solutions maintenance.
    • Maintain responsibility for a defined set of processes within a module on a global level.
    • Create and update system documentation.
    • Act as primary point of contact for Key Users and process owners.
    • Regional Incident Management contact, 1st and 2nd level application support contact.
    • Create system queries for Hydra.
    • Support capable and stable machine data acquisition processes.
    • Manages and executes tests (template level).
    • Analyze and approve change requests.
    • Participate in ongoing Continuous Improvement activities.
    • Accountable for all help desk logistics requests for North America.

    Qualifications

    • 2+ years process and systems analysis/training/facilitation experience.
    • Reporting tools administration (Hydra queries, back office, standard reports)
    • Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), smart factory software (training on Hydra will be provided).
    • Strong MS Excel experience required.
    • Knowledge of SQL is an asset.
    • Good understanding of IATF 16949/ISO 14001 requirements.
    • Automotive industry experience is highly preferred.
    • Uses positive interpersonal skills to build/maintain relationships
    • Ability to work in tandem with teams at all levels of the organization.
    • Strong ability to collect, analyze, and synthesize information in order to determine root cause of problems.
    • Willingness to travel within North America manufacturing plant locations.
    • College or University degree required.
