Will share a high-end proven sales process by engaging with clients and prospects; assess needs; provide creative design concepts; and present these ideas in a compelling way.
Utilize 20/20 Design Software.
Educate clients on high-end kitchen and bath products.
Initiate excitement of designing a customer's dream kitchen and/or bath space.
Share with clients what makes you and our services/products different.
Will use our quoting process for client estimates; discuss terms, present price and can close the deal.
Track details of the projects in an organized and prioritized way so that nothing is missed.
Coordinate installation and design projects with customers, suppliers, and contractors so our clients can see the vision you created for them come to life.
Motivated to get out there and develop new client relationships Engage with prospects, follow-up on leads, find referral sources and network at local events and organizations such as NKBA, NARI, and HBA.
Understands developing recurring revenue streams with remodelers, contractors, interior designers, and architects is essential to successful sales growth.
Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and the internal team.
Desire to provide exceptional customer service and follow-up throughout the entire client experience.
Should something go wrong, willingness to take personal ownership and work to make it right.
Continually learn, grow and stay abreast of trends in the industry. What's hot in kitchen design, what are the Pantone colors for the year, what is the must have in baths. Be a student of the industry. Get excited to participate in training events, developing expertise, attending NKBA and ASID events.
Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Over 4 years of experience as a kitchen and bath designer and sales representative
Superior interpersonal, communication, organizational and problem resolution skills.
Residential retail experience; interior design experience; kitchen and bath cabinetry and remodeling experience
Working experience utilizing 20/20 Design Software (or similar)
Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint (in addition to 20/20).
Successful track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals and objectives
A sincere passion for kitchen, bath and interior design.
Flexibility with making off-hour client appointments.
Ideally a college degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field or equivalent work experience
