The organization's mission is to identify, educate, train, and organize students to promote the principles of freedom, free markets, and limited government. Turning Point USA believes that every young person can be enlightened to true free market values. Since its founding, Turning Point USA has embarked on a mission to build the most organized, active, and powerful conservative grassroots activist network on high school and college campuses across the country. JOB DESCRIPTION: The Advancement Representative will be dedicated to fundraising efforts on behalf of TPUSA in the following states: WA / OR / CA / AK / HI. The Advancement Representative will utilize both existing donors and will be responsible for identifying new prospects/donors in order to cultivate relationships, culminating in financial support of TPUSA. The Advancement Representative will be responsible for achieving a quarterly (and annual) fundraising goal. They will work closely with the Director of Advancement and other company officers to achieve these goals. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills 
• Sales and or fundraising experience 
• Knowledge of Google Drive (Google Docs, Sheets) 
• Passion for conservative ideas and principles 
• Self Driven and Entrepreneurial 
• Positive attitude 
• Strong work ethic and goal-oriented 
• Self-starter and self-motivated 
• Punctual and very responsive

“WOW!” SKILLS:

• Past/present involvement in conservative youth organizations 
• Experience starting campus organizations AND/OR 
• Leadership experience in conservative youth organizations
