    Turning Point USA is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded in 2012 by Charlie Kirk . The organization's mission is to identify, educate, train, and organize students to promote the principles of freedom, free markets, and limited government. Turning Point USA believes that every young person can be enlightened to true free market values. Since its founding, Turning Point USA has embarked on a mission to build the most organized, active, and powerful conservative grassroots activist network on high school and college campuses across the country. With a presence on over 3,500 campuses, Turning Point USA is the largest and fastest-growing youth organization in America.

    Job Description: The Development Database Intern is responsible for assisting in the fundraising department's database team in the day-to-day integrity of our rapidly growing donor list, critical to the functioning and success of TPUSA's donor relations efforts. Such tasks may include but are not limited to: data entry and hygiene, creating various donor correspondences, creating important tax documents, data uploads, and direct response premium fulfillment. Attention to detail is a must. There will be a high level of exposure to Development processes and donor related information, and therefore this position requires a high level of professionalism and absolute confidence at all times. The ideal candidate must fit the company and department culture, embodying the following traits: grassroots humility, warrior spirit, and persistent innovation.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Strong attention to detail
    • Knowledge of Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
    • “Team Player” who thrives in an environment working with others
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Ability manage a wide range of responsibilities
    • Passion for conservative ideas and principles

    “WOW!” Skills:

    • Experience with Salesforce, Virtuous, or other CRMs
    • Experience with AirTable
    • Previous involvement with TPUSA
    • Past administration and events experience
    • Past experience working in fast paced environments
    • ​​Experience with Anedot, DonorBox or other donation platforms

    All internships are located at TPUSA Headquarters in Phoenix, AZ. This is not a remote position. Interns are responsible for their own accommodations for the entirety of the internship as well as having a reliable mode of transportation, and proof of insurance when applicable.
