    Turning Point USA is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded in 2012 by Charlie Kirk. The organization's mission is to identify, educate, train, and organize students to promote the principles of freedom, free markets, and limited government. Turning Point USA believes that every young person can be enlightened to true free market values. Since its founding, Turning Point USA has embarked on a mission to build the most organized, active, and powerful conservative grassroots activist network on high school and college campuses across the country. With a presence on over 3,500 campuses, Turning Point USA is the largest and fastest-growing youth organization in America.

    JOB DESCRIPTION:​ The Events Intern is responsible for assisting in the successful execution of TPUSA's national summer events this June 9th -11th and July 14th - 16th. This position will be located in Phoenix, Arizona at the TPUSA Headquarters. Interns will report directly to the full-time events administrators. 

    Specific duties for the Events Intern consist of communicating with event attendees, coordinating administrative work, booking travel arrangements, and a variety of other duties related to the planning and execution of TPUSA events. This position requires a high level of professionalism and absolute confidence at all times. The Events Intern is required to attend our summer event and work the events from start to finish. The ideal candidate will first fit the company culture, embodying the following traits: grassroots humility, warrior spirit, and persistent innovation.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

    • Impeccable organizational skills 
    • Knowledge of Google Drive (Google Docs, Sheets)
    • “Team Player” who thrives in an environment working with others
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to multi-task and manage a wide range of responsibilities
    • Passion for conservative ideas and principles
    • Positive attitude
    • Strong work ethic and goal-oriented
    • Self-starter and self-motivated
    • Punctual and very responsive
    • At least entering Junior year of college

    "WOW!” SKILLS:

    • Past administration and events experience
    • Previous involvement with Turning Point USA
    • Knowledge of Airtable & Aventri
    • Attended one of our TPUSA events

    _All internships are located at TPUSA Headquarters in Phoenix, AZ. This is not a remote position. Interns are responsible for their own accommodations for the entirety of the internship as well as having a reliable mode of transportation, and proof of insurance when applicable. _
