Job Description: Turning Point USA is seeking a creative Social Media Specialist for the Alex Clark team to join us in Phoenix, Arizona! The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of trending cultural topics and is an Olympic-level brainstormer of creative show ideas that will galvanize not only conservatives but also independently-minded, middle-of-the-road Americans. But that's not all! We seek a superstar who pairs their creative talents with a desire to be more data-driven and analytic with their social media posting decisions. The Social Media Specialist will take part in content ideation, brainstorming sessions, and scheduling/posting all content to platforms. The person who fills this position will be responsible for executing the following duties as well as additionally assigned tasks:
- Exponentially grow follower and viewership and follower growth on Alex Clark and POPlitics branded accounts
- Develop viral content ideas for Alex Clark and POPlitics
- Develop social media strategies to grow reach on Instagram, YouTube, and other social platforms
- Schedule content posting (both primary and secondary posts)
- Be well versed in all relevant topics that are in news (political and campus related) and provide topics for the shows
- Interface with show followers who comment on posts and message the accounts
- Ensure that all posts meet the branding guidelines
- Maintaining a record of content that is posted by the accounts across social media platforms
Minimum Qualifications:

- Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication skills
- Metrics-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity
- Prior experience managing social media accounts, social media content creation
- Flexibility and enthusiasm for a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
- Ability to prioritize and organize several simultaneous projects
- Punctual and very responsive
- Willingness to fulfill all duties listed and any additional duties assigned
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Google Drive (Google Docs, Sheets)

“WOW!” Skills:
