    ABOUT THE POSITION

    The Advancement Research Administrator is primarily responsible for providing thorough, accurate, polished, and professional donor research to the eight-person donor relations team and other members of the Advancement Administrative Team. This is primarily a behind-the-scenes role with occasional direct donor contact, however there will be exposure to sensitive and confidential donor related information, so discretion and professionalism is an absolute must. The researcher works with other members of the Advancement staff to ensure that the team continues to meet a high standard of excellence in serving its donors and achieving departmental goals. Primary responsibilities for this position include using existing research tools to identify high wealth prospective donors; coordinating with gift officers to meet deadlines and complete projects; maintaining database records and integrating multiple data systems as needed; and other duties as required. The ideal candidate must fit the company and department culture, embodying the following traits: grassroots humility, warrior spirit, and persistent innovation.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Impeccable organizational skills; including note taking, data organization, and time management
    • Proficiency in Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets) or Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to multi-task and manage a wide range of responsibilities with a high degree of prudence and conscientiousness
    • Capacity to take personal ownership of projects, accomplish tasks, manage up to others, and make consistent progress on projects with minimal supervision
    • Enthusiasm about the opportunity to help the fastest-growing non-profit in the conservative movement
    • “Team Player” who thrives in an environment working with others and a positive attitude

    “WOW!” SKILLS

    • Experience with Salesforce or other CRMs
    • Previous involvement with TPUSA
    • Prior experience in research
    • Past experience working in fast paced environments
    • Excellent writing skills
