    Job Description: Are you passionate about promoting the principles of freedom, free markets, and limited government? Turning Point USA, the largest and fastest-growing conservative grassroots activist network, is offering an exciting Public Relations Internship opportunity in Phoenix, Arizona. The Turning Point USA Public Relations team is seeking a detail-oriented public relations intern. TPUSA's PR intern will play a vital role in supporting media engagements for TPUSA Contributors across various platforms, including television, radio, podcasts, and more. Internship responsibilities will encompass identifying compelling content that aligns with TPUSA's mission, assisting in the coordination of media engagements, and contributing to the organization and promotion of events. Interns are expected to work 20 hours per week, but can work up to 40 hours a week for the first 60 days, after which maximum hours will be reduced to 29 per week.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    - Daily Tasks Assistance: Support the PR Manager with daily tasks as needed, ensuring smooth operations and efficient workflow.

    - Media Coordination: Assist in coordinating media engagements for TPUSA Contributors on television, radio, podcasts, and other platforms.

    - Event Support: Provide support in organizing and promoting TPUSA's summer events prior to the event start and on-site.

    - Communication Strategy: Assist in developing and implementing effective communication strategies to reach target audiences.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Must be a junior or older in college (if in college)
    • Impeccable organizational skills & creative skills
    • Skilled with Instagram & Twitter platforms
    • Knowledge of Google Apps

    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to multi-task and manage a wide range of responsibilities
    • Passion for conservative ideas and principles

    “WOW!” SKILLS:

    • Familiarity with Airtable Platform
    • Familiarity with Cision platform or similar PR software
    • Previous involvement with TPUSA
    • Previous TPUSA Event Experience
    • A strong representative of the TPUSA brand

    All internships are located at TPUSA Headquarters in Phoenix, AZ. This is not a remote position. Interns are responsible for their own accommodations for the entirety of the internship as well as having a reliable mode of transportation, and proof of insurance when applicable. __
