    TurningPoint is seeking a professional to provide support for agency EIS transition.

    This position is located on-site at a large federal agency where TurningPoint supports the transition from the GSA Networx and WITS telecom contracts to the Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions (EIS) contract. This is a customer facing position. The selected individual will work within the Office of Information Technology (OIT) on a joint customer and TurningPoint team.

    JOB PURPOSE:

    The agency is executing a voice and data services contract transition and technology modernization effecting lines, circuits, telephone numbers, routers, servers, firewalls, and licenses agency-wide across the United States. Members of the onsite TurningPoint transition team work in close collaborate with government stakeholders and vendor teams in planning, executing, tracking and reporting on contract transition and technology modernization initiatives within the contract transition.

    Keys to success in this role, which is measured in terms customer satisfaction and meeting all contract deliverables include strong listening skills, the ability to re-prioritize work efforts to meet shifting deadlines and priorities and the ability to build strong relationships with government stakeholders and vendor teams.

    Customer engagements cover all aspects of telecom, including wireline, wireless, satellite, equipment, licenses, security, and professional services.A proficiency in one or more of these technology areas and experience with federal, state or local government budgeting, finance, billing, telecom service ordering and telecom asset (inventory) activities is important to being successful in this role and being able to provide value quickly.

    FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITY

    • On-site project lead for customer engagement

    • Directly assists/back ups TurningPoint team members in:

      • scheduling and monitoring transition activities
      • performing budgeting (funding), billing, ordering and inventory support activities
      • utilizing internal agency systems, vendor systems and GSA reports to monitor moves, adds, changes, disconnects (MACD) and update legacy and transition inventories
      • maintaining an agency-level transition budget
      • Responding to budget, finance and inventory related data calls
    • Owns updates to an agency transition plan, agency-wide inventory, and agency-level transition budget

    • Documents and delivers weekly reports on transition status and team’s activities to key Finance, Contract and IT stakeholders

    • Communicates transition events to agency stakeholders, business partners and carriers

    • Coordinates TurningPoint resources to stand up TurningPoint’s NiOS Telecom Expense Management Solution (TEMS) system

       

      REQUIRED SKILLS:

    • Telecom knowledge, wireline

    • Hands-on project management experience

    • Effectively use tools such as MS Office to perform data analysis and present analytical results

    • Experience working with WEB based enterprise applications

    • Ability to identify, analyze, and document business requirements

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with previous customer facing experience

    • Leadership skills to oversee and mentor PM and Analyst resources

      Qualifications and Education Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree

    • PMP Certification is preferred

    • Minimum 5 years Data Analysis and Project Management experience

    • Ability to work daily, at customer site in Baltimore, MD office

       

      DESIRED SKILLS/CERTIFICATIONS:

    • Wireless telecom experience

    • Ability to work with multiple cross functional teams

    • Aptitude to add value to TurningPoint's overall business

    • Understanding of databases and troubleshooting, validating, exporting and loading data

    • Experience with GSA telecom contracts, telecom carrier web portals, and carrier service ordering

    • Use of SQL, MS Project

    • Understanding of government contract, budget, billing, and ordering processes

    LOCATION WILL BE ON-SITE IN BALTIMORE, MD 4 DAYS A WEEK AND ROCKVILLE, MD OFFICE 1 DAY A WEEK
